Welsh Corgis have slightly arched limbs and are known as chondrodysplastic dogs. Corgis are more prone to back problems due to their body structure. Their body appears longer than tall, and their back is straight. They reach their full size by one year of age, and some continue to grow slowly for 2-3 years.
Corgis have short double coats and are resistant to weather conditions. They are available in different colours, from fawn to black, deep red and sable with white markings. They look so fluffy in their young age and have a unique appearance at dog shows.
Some people also believe that Corgis is an enchanted dog, where elves and fairies use them to pull fairy coaches and use them as the steed of fairy warriors. If you look closely, you can see a faint saddle and harness marking on the Corgis coat.
